You Shan is inspired by the undulating mountains and rivers. The lower part refers to the leaf shape of Chinese bamboo. It looks like a wooden boat as a whole, signifying “plain sailing”. It is carved from a whole piece of solid wood and polished by hand. There is a slot starting from the highest point along the centre line, representing the path that collects wealth from all possible sources. There are two different sizes and according to the theory of Feng-Shui, it means bringing in wealth and treasure. The rolling coins provide a playful way for interaction.
